Samuel Pepys Cockerell (1754–1827) was a notable British architect during the late 18th and early 19th centuries. He is best known for his work in the neoclassical style and his role in designing several country houses and public buildings in England.
Perhaps his most famous building, Sezincote is a unique and early example of Indo-Saracenic architecture in England, incorporating Indian design elements with classical symmetry. It had a significant influence on the design of the Brighton Pavilion by John Nash.
