An unusual pair of watercolour drawings, depicting harness details for carriage horses. This delightful pair of fine naive drawings, (possibly executed by a coach painter because of his attention to detail and graphic skills), are in generally good condition. They are both mounted on acid free backing and are shown in antique ebonised frames that may be original. The horses are depicted in a charming static pose, typical of genuine naive painters and we love the depiction of a hand just visible on both pictures, holding the reins of the harnesses. A delightful and rare pair.
