With Boarded Top on Joined 'A' Frame Trestles

Northern European c. 1870

32” high x 79” wide x 29.5” deep

Ref: 31/40

A delightful, minimal and well drawn trestle based rectangular topped table that makes a good informal dining or kitchen table and equally well work as a desk or draftsman's table. The top is separate and can be removed for carrying, as these tables were originally often used as harvest tables and taken outside in the summer months. There is something immediately compatible with contemporary interior design and modernism about the design of this table, which is both stylish and wonderfully functional.
