Pair of Provincial Demi-Lune Console Tables

Raised on Three Decorative Silhouette Leg Bases, Joined by ”T” Stretchers
Solid Richly Patinated and Nutty Coloured Walnut.

A fine and original pair of late C17th or very early C18th Italian console tables, benefitting from a lovely generous scale and decorative baroque nature, each is raised on three silhouette shaped legs and joined by ”T” stretchers. There is some evidence of minor historic termite damage, and scars and bruises to the ”D” shaped tops, but overall they have a wonderful rich patina and deep nutty bronze colour. The bases retain excellent height and bold decorative scrolled detailing which has suffered some minor historic losses and wear, all commensurate with their age and function and also they also benefit from a glorious original surface and patina. These are a remarkable pair of early table in extraordinary original condition.
