Condition: In original ”as found” condition this delightfully sculptural goose decoy has a wonderful natural quality. There is a long repaired shrinkage to one side of the solid body, other minor shrinkages and incidental metal staining to the timber around the affixed lower neck sections. Otherwise it is in genuine original condition, with evidence of much use and wear and bearing scars and bruises commensurate with age and function. A stylish and curiously contemporary working bird with exception al aesthetic quality.
