Condition: Wonderful sculptural and well patinated root wood bowl comprehensively branded and carved to the underside with maker’s and owners initials and names and carved with the date 1867. This great example is hewn from a single large block of root burr birch wood and has a wonderful rich chestnut skin colour. It is in excellent working condition and boasts a rich working patina.
