Condition: A fine vernacular domestic spice cupboard with exceptional parquetry details, fitted with original interior drawers and with lovely pale fruity colour, this is a fine table top example from the early C18th. Excellent scale and well proportioned it is perfect for its original function or to store jewellery or other small “treasures”. Retaining original working key and oval brass escutcheon. A fine, practical early piece of great character and colour. A collector’s piece.
