Probably made for a hunting lodge or country house estate, this complete twelve place setting cutlery is of fine handcrafted quality. Made and marked by the reputed George Butler and Co in Sheffield in the second half of the nineteenth century, they are also branded with their style name ”ART”. Because the stags horn is entirely natural each handle is individual and unique. The complete set is in excellent original condition and comes from the Private Collection of Derek and Sally Green of Hartley Whitney, Hampshire.
