Created in the form of an outsized fishing lure, complete with a massive original swivel attached to the dorsal fin, this full bodied and repousse sheet metal trade sign is a rare survival. The fish retains much of the original painted surface and is now mounted on a bespoke made stand. In excellent condition and with provenance to a respected private collection, this is a genuine collector's piece and an interesting example of folk art sculpture.
