Early Artist's Mannequin or Lay Figure

With Fine Sculptural Details to the Face, Torso, Hands and Feet
Hand Carved and Well Patinated Pine

A finely detailed and completely original Artist's lay Figure or Mannequin, this example benefits from sensitive carved details to the face, hands and feet as well as some stylised anatomical details to the torso. In exceptional raw untouched condition and retaining articulation in all joints, this larger than average figure is crawling with integrity and character. Bearing a handled and beautifully textured surface to the carved pine wood, there is no visible evidence of any significant restoration or damage. A rarity.
