A really lovely and well drawn example, this ”X” framed trestle table with exceptional provenance. The planked top has developed a rich fruity colour and well preserved surface and the elegant architecturally inspired base retains much of the original painted surface. Both functional and stylish, this table can be freestanding in the centre of a room, behind a sofa or against a wall as a console table. There is something timeless about this design that is equally at home in a contemporary or traditional interior.
