Snowy Days & Column Inches

Snowy Days & Column Inches

Freezing cold temperatures did not dampen the excitement for the latest edition of the New York Winter Show, which enjoyed a regular flow of visitors, even as heavy snow fell and settled on Manhattan. There was a notable enthusiasm to view and handle pieces in the flesh……and to shop, together with a feeling that antiques are enjoying a renaissance, as more new clients were drawn to our exhibits.

The Winter Show continues to attract a diverse and committed community of visitors and always provides a great opportunity to make new connections and continue dialogue with longstanding clients and friends. By inviting a wide circle of international specialists who creatively juxtapose antique, vintage and modern works in the same exhibition space, the innovative organisers have raised its profile and continued to make it a relevant market-leading event, sensitive to contemporary taste.

The 2026 show was generally well received, positively reviewed and widely covered, so we were especially delighted to receive an Exhibition Highlight Award and to have benefitted from mentions in several high-profile publications.

The public facing event reinforced the importance of connection and interaction with collectors, designers, and art market professionals as well as those who simply admire and enjoy the pieces we select.

It was our privilege and honour to be invited, and to participate again in the longest running and most venerable art and antiques show in the USA.
