Masterpiece London 2019
We are excited to be counting down towards installing our exhibition at Masterpiece London 2019, for the tenth consecutive year. We will be presenting recent acquisitions including selected works of British and European Folk Art together with unique pieces of vernacular furniture.
Bringing together 150 of the world’s top galleries in the heart of London, Masterpiece has established itself as one of the world’s leading international art, design and antique fairs. Unlike old fashioned and traditional antique shows, Masterpiece has no boundaries in terms of dateline, medium or scale, it simply sets out to celebrate excellence.
We have sourced and selected some exceptional pieces to show at the 2019 staging, which share certain unique, often indefinable, qualities that distinguish them and drew us to them. Examples include a beguilingly graphic carved limestone sculpture of a reclining lion; a delightfully risqué, life-size, hand carved and painted folk art fairground sculpture of an angel; a rare early “Turk’s Head” tobacconist’s trade sign, and an exceptional pair of primitive Georgian Windsor comb back armchairs with curved crests and broad sculpturally saddled seats.
We have some Complimentary Tickets available, so please do contact us if you would enjoy the visiting this spectacular event at the height of the London’s summer season. We look forward to seeing you there.
