Contemporary Collaborations

An initiative which sets out to explore the graphic, sculptural, material and textural qualities of antique works, by cross pollinating them in collaboration with emerging contemporary artists

This exclusive programme investigates the inspiration and creative responses, of selected artists, to individual works from the RYA Collection, and re-contextualises them in a contemporary language.

RCA Graduate Erin Hughes is our Contemporary Collaborations Curator, having originally worked with us at the Gallery, Erin was also the first artist to create a collaborative installation with us.
