A slender English Country House serving table or hunt board. Raised on elegant well turned legs which are joined by all round stretchers, the well drawn lines incorporate the overhanging top and two sided upstanding gallery to the back and right hand side of the delightfully faded solid mahogany. This table is made to a good functional serving height and would also work very well as a shallow console or display table. Possibly unique in detail and proportion, this is a fine and charming example from the early nineteenth century .
